Affixed with a wide flange at one end, the FLANGE NUT works as a non-spinning and integrated washer. As a result, the pressure of the nut gets evenly distributed when it is being tightened/secured, and therefore minimizing the damage, and preventing it from loosening in case it is placed on a fastening surface which is uneven.
